National Weather Service Projects Bitter Cold Temperatures

The Village is urging caution with exposure to the cold and offering tips to prepare your home for severe temperatures.

The National Weather Service is predicting wind chills of 15 to 25 below tonight into Monday Morning. If you must go out, be sure to bundle up, as frostbite can occur very quickly in these conditions. Residents finding themselves in need of shelter due to home heat loss should call 911.

Please remember to check on the well-being of friends and neighbors during severe weather conditions, especially the elderly or homebound.
