Thomas D. Loucks
Thomas Dean Loucks, age 48, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice with his loving family by his side. His positive attitude was an inspiration to his family to the very end.

Born January 8, 1970 in Melrose Park, IL, he attended Proviso West High School, and worked for McCann Industries, Bolingbrook, as Parts Manager.
Tom will be remembered for always being there for anyone who needed him. He paid attention to the little things in life, and was a loving and caring husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He was an avid Cubs fan and loved all kinds of music. His dedication to his family, friends and neighbors will never be forgotten.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Jenny (nee Rudnick) Loucks of Plainfield; his four precious children, Austin, Lauren, Jessica and Madelyn, all at home; his father, Dean Loucks of Minooka; one brother, Aaron (Victoria) Loucks of Shorewood; two sisters, Amy (Ronnie) Quimby of Taylorsville, KY and Rebecca (David) Karl of Poplar Grove, IL; his wife’s siblings, Daniel (Theresa) Rudnick of Downers Grove, Patty (Gary) Nordgren of Glendale Heights, Peggy (Timothy) Delaney of Bensenville, and Cathy (Russ) Cowles of Carol Stream; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly M. (Thomas) Loucks (January 24, 2017); and his wife’s parents, Berthold and Dolores Rudnick.
Visitation for Thomas D. Loucks will be held Friday, November 9, 2018 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet. Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park II.
Memorials in his name to a fund for the benefit of his children would be appreciated.
