DOWNERS GROVE, IL -- The West Suburban Humane Society's 13th Annual Petals for Pets sale is coming up, giving residents a chance to buy a plant for their loved one while benefiting animals at the humane society. The sale, set for May 10 and 11, will offer plenty of colorful plants and blooms to help brighten someone's day or to be a beautiful accent for your own home.

At Petals for Pets, customers can browse a wide selection of potted plants, hanging baskets, and fragrant perennials. Flats of flowers and vegetables will also be available, along with native plants.

Proceeds from the Petals for Pets sale will aid homeless animals who are housed at West Suburban Humane Society. The humane society is currently at full capacity and is working to break ground on a new, expanded animal shelter in mid-May.
