Resident Rescued From House Fire In Downers Grove: DGFD
Firefighters got to the scene in the 4100 block of Downers Drive to find a person trapped inside the home.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Downers Grove firefighters rescued a resident who was trapped inside a home after a fire broke out in the 4100 block of Downers Drive early Tuesday.
Fire crews got to the scene just before 3 a.m. to find heavy flames in the back of the home. The fire remained contained to the home's main level, but the extent of its damage left the residence uninhabitable.
The person who was trapped inside was taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment. As of Tuesday afternoon, no additional updates were available regarding their condition.
