Robey Avenue Shooting Incident Under Investigation

Press release from the Village of Downers Grove:

At approximately 7:20 p.m. on February 24, 2021, the Downers Grove Police Department responded to a residence in the 1100 block of Robey Avenue for a report of a person who sustained an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound. The victim was located at the scene and transported to the hospital.The incident remains under investigation. There is no ongoing threat to the general public.
