The coronavirus shutdown can be a source of anxiety, but at least our pets are here to help.

ACROSS ILLINOIS — Hello, from the front lines at Patch, where I'm currently working with my cat, Rikki, pretty much kneading my laptop. Governor Pritzker's stay-at-home order and the general uncertainty about coronavirus is causing anxiety with many people in the state, but there's one thing that's for certain: our pets are glad to have us home.
To celebrate those little four-legged miracles —and to bring joy in all the chaos— we want our readers to send us photos of their pets in their homes to be featured in an upcoming article about staying at home in Illinois.
