Slight Uptick In Coronavirus Cases In Downers Grove
Since March 2020, Downers Grove has seen 4,073 confirmed coronavirus cases, according to DuPage County Health Department.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in Downers Grove has increased by 58 cases in the past week, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD). This week's increase is slightly more than last week's, which showed a rise of 48 cases.
As of April 27, the village had reported 4,015 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 4,073 as of May 4, reflecting a rise of just over 1.4 percent. The previous week's increase was 1.3 percent.
DCHD recently began sharing the number of probable coronavirus cases in each municipality. Whereas the graph on DCHD's website includes probable cases, using the site's search bar yields a breakdown of probable and confirmed cases.

In Downers Grove, there have been 570 probable coronavirus cases. Including probable cases, the total coronavirus case count for Downers Grove is at 4,643.
