DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A Speedway gas station was robbed at gunpoint in Downers Grove Tuesday afternoon.

Police say a man came into the gas station at 5004 Fairview Ave. around 2:40 p.m. and showed a handgun to the employee. After robbing the store, the suspect fled westbound on foot, according to police.
