Temporary Road Closures On Prairie, Stanley In Downers Grove
The temporary closures will be in effect until 5 p.m. Monday.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Commuters in Downers Grove who are coming back to work after the Fourth of July weekend may run into an additional obstacle on Monday. Village officials say parts of Prairie and Stanley Avenues will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to accommodate road work.
Prairie Avenue will be closed between Debolt Avenue and Linden Place, and Stanley Avenue will be closed between Prairie Avenue and Franklin Street. The road work is part of drainage improvements along Linden Place.
