Tivoli Theatre Hosts Comedy Benefit For Roadrunners Soccer Club
The event will take place Jan. 26.

The Tivoli Theatre and Roadrunners Soccer Club have partnered to present the comedy benefit “Kickin’ Up Some Laughs.” The event will be held at the historic Tivoli Theatre located at 5021 Highland Ave. in downtown Downers Grove on Thursday, January 26 at 7:30 PM. Proceeds will go toward funding scholarships and purchasing soccer equipment.
Ticket prices are $25 (pre-order) or $30 at the door. There will be also be raffles and a cash
bar. Tickets can be ordered here.

Providing the laughs for the evening are three nationally known comedians:
Jim Flannigan: Co-host of the Chicago White Sox Podcast and who has performed at some
of the biggest comedy clubs and festivals in the country, including “Gilda’s Laughfest” and “The
Great American Comedy Festival”

Kevin Bozeman: A Roadrunner Dad who was a finalist on “Last Comic Standing” and has
been seen on CBS, Fox, NBC and Comedy Central
Dwayne Kennedy: Has appeared on many of the biggest comedy shows including “Comedy
Central”, “Letterman”, “The Showtime Comedy Special” and the “W. Kamau Bell Show”
Founded in 1980, Roadrunners Soccer Club is a not-for-profit organization that develops
training programs for both boys and girls teams. The training, coaching and levels of play are
of the highest standards and follow training regimens as outlined by national guidelines.
On-field accomplishments include a number of state, regional and national championships.
The organization strives to not only build skilled players, but young people of character, who
learn about respect and the commitment to be better citizens of the community.
