Walgreens Employee Cited for Selling Cigarettes to a Minor in Downers Grove
West was issued a ticket at the Walgreens on Ogden Ave.
When conducting a tobacco compliance check at a Downers Grove Walgreens, police cited employee Arriana West, 22, for selling tobacco to a minor.
During compliance checks, police use people under the age of 18 to act as undercover agents in buying scenarios. When one of these agents tried to buy cigarettes from West with an Illinois state ID, West completed the transaction and was issued a ticket that’s due Dec. 12.
West was cited Tuesday, Nov. 29 at the Walgreens on 1000 Ogden Ave.
