Water Main Break Causes Traffic On Ogden In Downers Grove
The water main broke early Friday and crews were still working to repair it Friday afternoon.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Commuters in Downers Grove can expect a bit of traffic near the intersection of Highland and Ogden Friday afternoon as crews continue to repair a burst water main. As of 2 p.m., officials said traffic on Ogden Avenue was reduced to a single lane in both directions.
The water main broke at Ogden and Main Street around 6 a.m. Friday, according to a post on the village's Facebook page.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area near Highland and Ogden Avenues until further notice.
