Westmont Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash In Aurora: Cops
Police say Jonathan Schwickert, 54, of Westmont, was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday evening.
AURORA, IL -- A Westmont man has died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a truck in Aurora Saturday evening. John Schwickert, 54, of W. 64th Street, Westmont, was rushed to a nearby hospital after the crash and later succumbed to his injuries.
Eyewitnesses told Aurora Police that Schwickert was driving his 2017 Harley Davidson Road Glide at a "high rate of speed" when he missed a stop sign and rear-ended a 2007 Chevy pickup truck near the intersection of Illinois Avenue and View Street.
Police say the other driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene of the crash.

In a news release, Aurora police said they "do not immediately suspect intoxication as a contributing factor in this crash."
