Woodridge Police Reports: Theft, Car Burglaries, Property Damage
The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through Aug. 12.

At approximately 3:03 p.m. Aug. 6, Britany Skrobot, 24 of Butterfield Road in Oak Brook Terrace, was charged with retail theft after she removed cosmetics from Kohl’s, 1001 W. 75th St. without paying.
A theft occurred between noon and 7:20 p.m. Aug. 6 in the 7600 block of Janes Avenue. Someone stole a planter from the yard of a home.

A criminal damage to property occurred between 3:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Aug. 6 in the 7700 block of Fox Drive. Someone damaged the locking mechanism to a security door which allows entry into an apartment building.
A burglary from motor vehicle occurred between 10:30 p.m. Aug. 6 and 5 a.m. Aug. 7 in the 2500 block of Waterbury Drive. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet.

A burglary from motor vehicle occurred between 12:30 p.m. Aug. 6 and 12:24 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 2700 block of Davos Avenue. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole spare change.
A burglary from motor vehicle occurred between 8:30 p.m. Aug. 6 and 12:47 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 2700 block of Davos Avenue. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a camera, an MP3 player, a GPS device and a wallet.
A burglary from motor vehicle occurred between 12:00am and 6:21am Aug. 7 in the 2400 block of Evergreen Lane. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle, rummaged through items but did not take anything.
A burglary from motor vehicle occurred between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Aug. 7 in the 2400 block of Crabtree Avenue. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole spare change.
A burglary from motor vehicle occurred Aug. 7 in the 2600 block of Forest Drive. An officer who was checking the area because of other burglaries reported in the area observed a parked car with its door ajar and the center console open. It is not known if items were stolen.
A burglary from motor vehicle occurred Aug. 7 in the 2700 block of Davos Avenue. An officer who was investigating another vehicle that had been burglarized in the block observed a parked car with its door ajar and the center console open. It is not known if items were stolen.
A burglary from motor vehicle occurred between 12:30 a.m. and 5:45 a.m. Aug. 7 in the 2500 block of Woodlyn Drive. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a backpack.
A burglary from motor vehicle occurred between 11 p.m. Aug. 7 and 2 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 2300 block of Charmingfare Drive. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a purse.
A criminal damage to vehicle occurred Aug. 8 in the 7000 block of Roberts Drive. Someone pried the rear door weather-stripping from the roof of a parked vehicle.
A burglary from motor vehicle occurred between 9:30 p.m. Aug. 7 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 8 in the 2600 block of Forest Glen Parkway. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a GPS unit and spare change.
A criminal damage to property was reported to have occurred Aug. 9 at the Janes Avenue Skate Park, 7927 Janes Avenue. Someone had cut through the trunk of a tree, destroying it.
At approximately 10:02 p.m. Aug. 9, Victor Manoli, 26 of the 9200 block of Susy Lane in Schiller Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of a property damage accident following the investigation of a traffic accident in the 8000 block of Janes Avenue.
A theft occurred at approximately 7:40 p.m. Aug. 9 at Jewel, 2317 75th Street. Someone stole an unattended cell phone and cell phone case.
A criminal damage to vehicle occurred between midnight and 1 a.m. Aug. 10 in the 8300 block of Oak Leaf Avenue. Someone scratched the passenger side of a parked vehicle.
At approximately 11:41 p.m. Aug. 10, Kenneth Steverson, 33 of the 400 block of Mall View Drive in Bolingbrook, was charged with resisting a police officer following the investigation of a disturbance in the 2500 block of Waterbury Drive.
