$500 in ECC bookstore cash offered to new students
New students must inquire and register by June 30

Elgin Community College is offering $500 gift cards to the bookstore and ECC merchandise to new students who register for fall 2021 classes between 12:00 a.m. CDT on June 7 and 11:59 p.m. CDT on June 30, 2021.
Specifically, the first 100 new students to register and complete the necessary steps will receive a $500 gift card to the bookstore and ECC merchandise. The $500 gift card can be used to purchase any item(s) sold by the ECC Bookstore, including books, electronics, headphones, supplies, backpacks, software, and more. In addition, students can use the gift card to shop in person or online at bookstore.elgin.edu; plus, the gift card does not expire.
"We're excited for the start of the fall semester and welcoming students back to campus this fall,” said Amy Perrin, managing director of student and financial services. “We hope this $500 bookstore gift card, along with the many other generous financial supports available to our students, inspires anyone who is thinking about taking classes to act now and see all that ECC has to offer."

Those eligible for a chance to receive a $500 gift card must be a new student to ECC and enrolled in either part-time or full-time credit classes. A new student is someone who has never taken a credit class at ECC. To be eligible, the new student must complete the information request form, a free online application for admission to ECC, all enrollment steps, and register for credit classes between June 7 and June 30.
