Downed Power Lines Close Randall Road
Officials are urging drivers to avoid the area. Or, better yet, not to travel at all in tonight's blizzard like conditions.
ELGIN, IL – With blizzard conditions currently wreaking havoc on area roadways, you probably don’t want to be traveling tonight. But, if you must travel, you will want to avoid northbound Randall Road at Interstate 90 in Elgin. Downed power lines has closed the northbound lanes of the typically busy thoroughfare, according to a post at 8:45 p.m. on the city of Elgin Facebook page.
City officials are urging drivers to avoid the area. Or, better yet, not to travel at all.
