'Dusting' Of Snow Could Lead To Slick Roads
Officials are encouraging drivers to allow for extra travel time Wednesday morning due to the snow and extreme cold.

CHICAGO, IL — Light snow will fall on untreated roads Wednesday, which could create some slick roadways for this morning's commute, weather officials said early Wednesday. The two- to four-hour period of snow is expected to wrap up between 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday and accumulations of over one-half-inch in some areas is possible, according to a post on the National Weather Service page.

With highs only in the 20s today, the dusting of snow could cause issues for travel and weather officials are urging travels to allow for extra travel time Wednesday morning.
