Centro is moving our Carpentersville satellite location to the Dundee Township Park District Morningside Building at 3036 Wakefield Dr.

We are thankful to the Dundee Township Park District for the use of their facility, and to the group of volunteers from Christ Community Church in St. Charles that came last Saturday to paint. Plans for an official Grand Opening in a couple of weeks are in the works--we look forward to seeing you there! Centro is happy to introduce Marco Ortiz as Centro’s newest Immigration Counselor. Marco comes with a wide experience in the publications industry and has won awards from the National Association of Hispanic Publications. A native of Perú, Marco himself came to Centro to apply for US citizenship. He has been very involved in community affairs and has an interest in helping the immigrant community. Welcome, Marco, to the Centro de Información family.  Looking for a part-time job. . .or full-time? Do you speak Spanish. . . and English? Centro needs office help. Call Cheryl Wilkins or Sally Liu: 847-695-9050 A few months ago, Centro was contacted by supporter and donor, David Im of David Im State Farm Insurance, with an introduction to Crash Champions Collision Repair in Elgin, offering a refurbished car to a worthy family on their Crash Champions 4th Recycled Rides Rideaway Day.  

We are happy to announce that on Thursday, June 24, Centro's client Gilberto Flores was presented with a fully refurbished vehicle donated by Geico Insurance, along with other prizes such as a generous gift from Enterprise Car Rental for a full year of comprehensive insurance.
