Ecker News Read about our news and latest updates. Summer is finally here! One of the many benefits of summer is the positive effect that it has on many people's mental health. The sun gives us more vitamin D, which raises energy levels and simply makes us feel happier. Studies show that spending time outside is also a healthy way to relieve stress. So plan a walk and get some fresh air after a long day and give your mental health a positive boost! Scroll down to the "Summer Resources" section to view a list of activities to participate in this summer!
Our "one-year merger anniversary" staff event was a success, despite the rain that snuck in for a short time! Staff members from all Ecker sites gathered at the Grandstand Office throughout the day to indulge in a variety of food offered by five food trucks that were onsite for the event. There was something for everyone - from tacos and burgers to pizza puffs and cupcakes - so nobody left hungry that day! Adding to the tropical vibe, Kent Arnsbarger came all the way from Indiana with his steel drums to provide island music (of course) throughout the event. We would like to thank all staff members for their hard work and dedication to supporting the agency's mission and for making Ecker Center for Behavioral Health's first year one of the best ever! Happy one-year anniversary, Ecker Center for Behavioral Health!
