Elgin Native Turned Hollywood Actor Heads Home For 'Madea' Event
Larkin High School graduate David Otunga stars in new 'A Madea Family Funeral,' and heads back to Elgin for Saturday movie meet and greet.

ELGIN, IL — Elgin native turned Hollywood actor David Otunga is heading back home to celebrate the opening of the new film he's in, "A Madea Family Funeral" at the Marcus Elgin Cinema on Saturday, March 2, according to a release.
Before the 7 p.m. showing of the Tyler Perry film, the Larkin High School grad, who plays "Will" in the movie, will conduct a meet and greet at 6:15 p.m. with fans at the movie theater, 111 S. Randall Road, and the first 200 attendees will receive a free "Madea" T-shirt.
