First Baby Of New Year Born At Amita Health
Gemarion Brown was born to parents Gabrielle Walkine and Gabriel Brown.
ELGIN, IL — Gabrielle Walkine and Gabriel Brown of Elgin welcomed the first baby born in the New Year at AMITA Health Women's & Children's Hospital in Hoffman Estates at 12:11 Wednesday, hospital officials said. Gemarion Brown was born several weeks early and weighed 3 pounds, 8 ounces and was 16 inches in length.
The baby boy is in the hospital's NICU and Gabrielle is recovering.
