Horse Evades Police Capture, Gallops Through Town: Video
The Wauconda Police Department was tasked with capturing a horse this past week.

WAUCONDA, IL -- Dash-cam video from a Wauconda Police Department squad car captured an uncommon pursuit on Tuesday. The 3:35-minute video shows a squad car following behind a horse as it galloped down several city streets. Cars pulled to the side of the road as the horse made its way across and at one point in the video, a curious dog ran out into a neighborhood street behind the horse to catch a glimpse of the action.
Another squad car's video shows the horse galloping along Route 12, apparently oblivious to the traffic laws as it headed into oncoming traffic as squad cars followed behind.
