Kane Co. Leaders To Give Away 4,000 Free Masks In Elgin
The care packages, which includes masks, will be distributed Saturday at New Life Covenant Church.
KANE COUNTY, IL — Kane County Circuit Clerk Thomas Hartwell along with other political and community leaders are planning to distribute more than 4,000 protective face masks and care packages to people in need this weekend. The free care packages will be available from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the New Life Covenant Church, 2250 W. Highland Ave. in Elgin.
The care package will include protective face masks, hand sanitizer, food items, and fresh Oberweis milk, according to a news release.
A maximum of four masks will be distributed per vehicle while supplies last. The first ru come will be the first served.

No identification or documentation is needed to receive the masks, according to a news release.
Recipients should drive into the church parking lot, remain in their vehicle, receive their masks and care package and then exit the lot.
