The 2020 Long Red Line Juried Art Exhibit at Elgin Community College is now viewable via a 360-degree virtual experience. Postponed initially in April due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the exhibit, which is on display in ECC’s E. Max Von Isser Art Gallery, is accessible at bit.ly/ECCGalleriesLRL until Friday, Nov, 13, 2020. ECC’s campus remains closed to the general public.

The Long Red Line is Elgin's expression of One Billion Rising, a global movement of women and their allies rising to end rape, violence, interpersonal domination, and oppression against women.

The show and virtual experience were curated by ECC Art Gallery Curator Juan Fernandez from pieces selected by the 2020 Juror, Erin Rehberg, Founder/Executive Director of Side Street Studio Arts. The 29 artworks from 23 artists includes submissions from ECC students, alumni, employees, and community members and represent the Long Red Line's mission and the 2020 theme of Rise. Empower. Unite.
