Police Seek Help Locating Missing Man

The Elgin Police Department is asking the public to keep an eye out for Maxwell Schiff. He has been missing since Monday.

ELGIN, IL — The Elgin Police Department is asking for the public's help in tracking down a an who has been missing since earlier this week.

Authorities say they've been trying to locate Maxwell Schiff to check on his welfare, according to a post on the Elgin Police Department Facebook page. Schiff was last seen in the 1800 block of Grandstand Place in Elgin on Monday at about 11:30 a.m. He may be wearing a maroon-colored jacket, a black knit cap and black gloves.
