Preschool and Daycare providers present at Bartlett Library

​The Bartlett Library hosted its annual Preschool and Daycare Fair on Saturday, Jan. 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Bartlett Library hosted its annual Preschool and Daycare Fair on Saturday, Jan. 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., which had 76 patrons in attendance.

Preschools and daycares present included: Bartlett Park District Preschool, Precious Tots Preschool, Kripa Montessori School, Living Lord Lutheran Preschool, Brewster Creek Kindercare, St. John the Evangelist School, Safari Childcare, Trinity Lutheran Preschool and Give Me Five! (A U-46 program for emergent reading).

The participating locations had marketing materials for the parents and/or caregivers to take home with them on the different services and activities they offer. Children present also had fun playing with toys and learning resources that the booths had for them.

Youth & Teen Services Assistant Manager Phyllis Sadowski ran the program.

“Parents can use the Library as a meeting space to talk face-to-face with preschool and daycare providers,” Sadowski explained about the program.

If you missed this program, an upcoming Youth & Teen Services program at the Bartlett Library is the “Now Showing” movie program on Friday, Jan. 19 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. It's movie night at the Library! This time we will be showing “Despicable Me 3.” Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Concessions will be available for sale the Friends of the Library.
