A third man, Manny L. Pittenturf, 23, of the 300 block of Tee Lane in Carpentersville, is also charged with aggravated speeding and driving without a license in connection with the April 20 crash that killed Madison, of Plano, and Colburn, of Wenersville, Pennsylvania.

Two other Judson seniors in the car were injured and taken to Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin. All of the students were studying in Judson's architecture program.

Morris, Steele and Pittenturf were driving in separate vehicles north on Illinois Route 31 north of Big Timber Road in Elgin on the evening of April 20 when Morris' 2013 Hyundai collided with a 2004 Pontiac that was turning left from southbound Route 31 onto Judson Drive, according to the news release.

Authorities say all three were traveling more than 35 mph over the posted 45-mph speed limit.

Madison and Colburn were ejected from the Pontiac and later died. Two others in the Pontiac survived, according to prosecutors.

Pittenturf turned himself into police on May 19, and Morris surrendered on Tuesday. Morris' bail has been set at $100,000. Steele remains wanted on a warrant.
