2021 Watermain Improvements - Detour Notification In City Of Elmhurst

As part of the ongoing S. York Street Watermain Improvements Project, the contractor will be installing new watermain crossing S. York Street at Madison Street. A partial intersection closure at this intersection is currently scheduled for Thursday, June 17th. As part of the work S. York Street will be reduced to one lane at Madison Street. Northbound traffic on S. York Street will be maintained through the intersection.

Work is scheduled to commence at 7 a.m. on Thursday, June 17th and is anticipated to be completed before the end of the day (i.e. 1 day).

Southbound S. York Street will be detoured west on Cayuga Ave, south on Euclid Ave. and then east on Adams St.
