ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst has a new option for Mexican food. On Tuesday, Primos Locos Garden Bar opened in downtown. Even before its opening, it made headlines on Patch when police said they arrested two security guards that the restaurant hired on weapons charges.
The restaurant, 122 S. York St., has a simple menu with all the major Mexican plates. It serves margaritas and Mexican craft beers, among other drinks. The city confirmed Primos has a liquor license.
According to its website, Primos says its environment is a "feast for the eyes alone." The restaurant promises to obey social distancing guidelines.
