Bridge Inspections Could Slow Traffic In Downtown Elmhurst
Traffic control will be set up as needed along 1st Street and Park Avenue on Wednesday and Thursday.
ELMHURST, IL - Bridge inspections are planned throughout the day on Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27 on the bridges along 1st Street and Park Avenue in downtown Elmhurst. During the scope of the work, Robert Palmer Drive below the bridges will be closed periodically, the city said in an alert to residents Tuesday.
Traffic control will be set up throughout the work as well, so commuters may want to plan an alternate route like York Street or Haven Road.
The inspections are expected to be complete by Friday.
