DuPage Presidential Results: Biden Defeats Trump
Democrats are winning a bigger share of DuPage, once a GOP presidential stronghold.

ELMHURST, IL — Yes, DuPage County has changed — politically, that is.
In Tuesday's election, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden won 57.2 percent of the vote to Republican President Donald Trump's 40.8 percent, according to unofficial returns as of Wednesday morning. That was the third presidential election in a row that the Democrats gained a bigger share of the county's vote.
A look at the county clerk's electoral map from Tuesday's election shows a sea of blue for Democrats in much of the county. Among those areas were Elmhurst, Clarendon Hills and Naperville. Hinsdale was blue on its west side and red on the east bordering Cook County. Darien was largely blue, while Burr Ridge was more evenly divided.
