Elmhurst College Reaches Out to Displaced ITT Tech Students
Adult students who are pursuing a degree in IT are encouraged to contact the college.

ELMHURST, IL — In an effort to assist some of the 35,000 students left in limbo by the abrupt closing of ITT Technical Institute, Elmhurst College is working with former ITT students to help them complete their degrees at Elmhurst.
After ITT Tech closed its doors and declared bankruptcy earlier this fall, Elmhurst College reviewed ITT’s curricular offerings and developed a plan to help eligible adult students (24+ years in age) transfer their credits and complete their degree in Information Technology at Elmhurst.

“We’re delighted to offer this opportunity to qualified ITT students, whose lives and educational paths have been upended through no fault of their own,” said Timothy Ricordati, dean of the School for Professional Studies at Elmhurst College. “As a top-ranked higher education institution that has put students first for more than 145 years, Elmhurst College is ready to advise and help these students however we can—and we’re not going anywhere.”
