Elmhurst Man Taken To Jail On Weapons Charge: Cops

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst man was arrested on a weapons charge and taken to the DuPage County Jail late Thursday night, police said.

Trystan Hayes, 22, was taken into custody about 11:30 p.m. in the 200 block of East Butterfield Road on a charge of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

According to a police report, authorities received a 911 call about a suspicious person in front of a business door. The person, identified as Hayes, was found in possession of a loaded gun without a valid concealed carry permit, police said.
