Elmhurst Park District Boys Gymnastics Team Wins Competition
The Elmhurst Park District Boys Level 5 USAG Gymnastics Team landed in 1st place at the Hawaiian Pineapple Classic earlier this month.
ELMHURST, IL — The Elmhurst Park District Boys Level 5 USAG Gymnastics Team placed first at the Hawaiian Pineapple Classic on Sunday, Dec. 17. According to the park district website, Buffalo Grove Gymnastics hosted the competition at the Schaumburg Convention Center.
The park district said the Boys Level 6 team also performed well, taking second place. Four gymnasts took first place in the all around: Renny Barnitz (Level 7), Noah Boscaccy (Level 5), Ryan Krichbaum (Level 6) and Chandler Brady (Level 5).
“For the first meet of the year they kept their composure and went out to perform the way they practice," Coach Nikko said in a release. "All the hard work they put in at the gym really paid off this weekend. The boys are excited to get back to the gym and improve for the next competition.”
