Elmhurst Police Arrest Accused Car Burglar

Officers responded to a report of people looking in cars with flashlights.

Elmhurst, IL — Two people were seen looking into cars with flashlights around 2: 19 a.m. June 25 in the 400 block of W. Fremont Avenue.

Responding officers found and arrested one of the people, who acknowledged he'd burglarized cars, according to Elmhurst police.

Demetrius C. Orr, 18 of the 100 block of N Cornell Avenue in Villa Park, was charged with burglary and taken to DuPage County Jail.
