Felony Trespassing, Fleeing From Cops: Hinsdale Police
A man is accused of breaking his girlfriend's door and entering without permission, report says.
HINSDALE, IL — In the last few days, Hinsdale police have handled cases involving felony trespassing, teens running away from officers, counterfeit bills and damage. Here is information from the latest reports:
Felony trespassing
- Terrance T. Porter, 35, of Harvey, was arrested about 5:30 a.m. Friday in the 5500 block of South Madison Street on felony charges of trespassing and criminal damage to property. He broke a girlfriend's door and entered without permission. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

- Owen W. Jansen, 18, of Clarendon Hills, and Terrence M. Luzano, 19, of Hinsdale, were cited at 2 a.m. Friday at 59th Street and Garfield Avenue on charges of failure to obey a police officer. Police were dispatched to help Burr Ridge police officers with a noise complaint. The two men ran away from officers. Jansen faces the additional charge of unlawful possession of alcohol by a person under 21. They were released and given a date to appear in court.
Counterfeits
- Two men made purchases using three counterfeit $20 bills about 5:30 p.m. Friday at Walgreens, 15 Grant Square. One of the men was described as Indian and wearing a black baseball cap, a teal collared shirt and khaki pants. The other was described as Indian, having black hair and a beard, and wearing a blue T-shirt, blue and white basketball shorts and white gym shoes. The case is pending.
Damage

- Eggs were thrown at a person's car while it was parked in front of his house overnight Thursday in the 600 block of South Stough Street.
- A trash can on the side of the road was damaged by a firework about 3 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of North Clay Street.
- A tire was slashed between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. May 30 in the 10 block of East First Street.
- A port-a-potty was damaged about 8 p.m. Thursday at a construction site in the 300 block of South Park Avenue.
- Basketball backboards were damaged between May 28 and May 31 in the playground at Oak School, 950 S. Oak St.
Theft
- A hood ornament was stolen from a parked car between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Friday in the Grant Square parking lot.
