Have You Seen A Lot Of Police And Firemen Today? Here's Why

The hazardous incidents training will take all day, Illinois State Police said.

If you've been seeing a lot of policemen, firemen and other emergency workers in the area today, don't worry — there probably isn't anything wrong.

The Illinois State Police said in a release Thursday that the ISP, Itasca Fire Department, DuPage County Sheriff's Department, FBI and several other agencies would be participating in an all-day, full-scale training exercise Feb. 16.

The training is response-oriented, according to the release, and will be conducted in real-time throughout the day. It will focus on hazardous incidents.
