Dog Walker Stumbles Upon Decapitated Chickens: Elmhurst Police

Elmhurst police ran into a suspicious scene Jan. 11 when they responded to a call for mutilated livestock in the area of Dupage and Berteau Avenues.

The citizen who called in the report was walking his dog just before 1 p.m. when he found several chickens decapitated and laying next to oranges, pears and sliced pieces of bamboo.

Police filed the incident under suspicious circumstances.
