Mom Calls Cops on Son Who's Skipping School: Elmhurst Police

Take a look at what the Elmhurst police have been up to for the past week.

The following items were taken from the Elmhurst police blotter throughout the past week. An arrest doesn't constitute a finding of guilt.

Domestic battery

  • Police are investigating an incident from Jan. 13 in which two people, both of whom suffer from dementia, were fighting and prompted a 911 call. The fight between the couple had gotten physical, according to police reports, and at one point they were both on the floor. Their daughter came to their home in the 1000 block of S. Euclid and agreed to spend the night.
