Quench Your Thirst at Elmhurst's Craft Beer Fest This Weekend

The event spotlights more than 50 area breweries. It's set for Saturday, Sept. 17, on the Elmhurst History Museum grounds.

Beer lovers can sample tastings from more than 50 Chicago-area craft breweries this weekend at the second annual event of its kind in Elmhurst.

Craft Beer Fest kicks off at noon on Saturday, Sept. 17, under a tent on the Elmhurst History Museum grounds at 120 E. Park Ave. The craft brew celebration doubles as a fundraiser for the local Heritage Foundation and Rotary Club.

Tickets are $50 each in advance or at the gate and an extra $15-per will earn sippers VIP early entry. Each ticket includes a souvenir tasting glass, 18 beer tastings, light snacks, door prizes, live music and more.

Among the featured craft and microbreweries are Lagunitas, New Belgium, Blue Moon, Baderbrau, Goose Island and Exit Strategy, to name a few.
