Roads Closed Due To Rain In Elmhurst
Police have shut down the roads, and traffic is being rerouted, the city said.
ELMHURST, IL — Roads are closed in Elmhurst after the area got hit with some heavy rain on Tuesday. According to the city, the Palmer Drive underpass and the Route 83 railroad underpasses are flooded.
Police have shut down both roads, and traffic is being rerouted, the city said.
According to the National Weather Service, heavy downpours are forecast for Tuesday afternoon for the area. The NWS said downpours may cause localized flooding or ponding.
