Rough Elmhurst Railroad Crossing To Be Fixed
Street traffic will be detoured for 11 days, the city says.
ELMHURST, IL — The York Street railroad crossing, which is in bad shape, is set to be closed for track repairs starting Tuesday and lasting until June 18, according to the city.
Signage will be posted along the detour route. Northbound York Street traffic will be detoured east on Park Avenue, north on Haven Road, west on First Street and back to York Street.
