Stolen iPhone
A victim reported to the police that her iPhone had been stolen around the North/Clinton area and, after realizing it was gone, she was contacted on Facebook by someone who said that if she didn’t erase the information on her cell, he would release photos of her on Facebook. The victim doesn’t have the offender’s information, and the case is still pending investigation.
Battery
A mild battery case was reported Nov. 19 when a victim reported that someone got in his face until their noses touched. He was then pushed against a car in a showroom at 300 W. Grand Ave. Due to conflicting stories — the other person said he never pushed the victim — no arrests were made.
DUI
Modestas Mazukma, 32, was arrested Nov. 22 for driving under the influence on Route 83. Mazukma was originally stopped for violating traffic laws by disobeying a red light and turning left illegally.
Drugs
Marcus Browley, Jr., 26, was cited for possession of marijuana Nov. 22 when officers stopped him for not wearing a seatbelt. Police also found 459 grams of marijuana, a black automatic pistol and $2,000 in cash in Browley’s car.
