United Real Estate, with a local office in Oakbrook Terrace, held a drive to benefit local food pantries. Several boxes of non-perishable food were collected and delivered to the York Township Food Pantry and some Parish St. Vincent DePaul Society pantries in the area.
“I’m really proud of the broker associates I work with who enthusiastically became involved in donating food and soliciting donations on our behalf," local coordinator for the United Realtors efforts Dan Hildebrand said. "As a member of my own local St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry at St. Pius X Parish in Lombard, I see the great need for these efforts and I’m pleased to be able to do something that means a great deal to people who depend on the help we can provide.”
