West Avenue Rail Crossing Closes This Week

The West Avenue railroad crossing will be closed July 13-18 because the Canadian National Railroad will be repairing it, according to a news release from the City of Elmhurst.

All businesses as well as Courts Plus will remain open and drivers will have access to all driveways while the work is going on.

Detour signs will be posted directing southbound traffic onto Elm Park Avenue to Hagans Avenue to St. Charles Road. Northbound traffic will follow the reverse route.
