York Student Helps Team Win In Junior Olympic Cup

ELMHURST, IL — York High School student Lauren Derkowski recently helped her team, TN Mojo, win the USA Softball Junior Olympic Cup in Spartanburg, S.C. The game was covered by the MLB Network.

Derkowski's softball journey started in Elmhurst with the Elmhurst Emeralds. She plans to continue at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in fall 2021. She is going to be a York senior.
