7-Eleven Employee Conked In Head During Armed Robbery: Police
Evergreen Park police said the employee was pistol whipped and that the suspect fled with unknown amount of cash and cigarettes.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — An employee was conked in the head with a gun during the armed robbery of a convenience store in Evergreen Park on Nov. 19.
Around 10:30 p.m. an employee told police that a man appeared behind the counter at the 7-Eleven store, 3440 W. 95th St. The man hit the employee in the head with a gun. Police said the man ordered the employee to hand over cash and cigarettes. The man fled the store with an unknown amount of loot.
The employee said the man was last seen heading west through the alley behind the store until losing sight of him. Police described the suspect as a male black wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt, black pants and surgical mask.
