CMS Students Held In Classrooms While 'Vague' Threat Is Investigated
A Central Middle School student heard another student state that if they didn't get their way "you'll see what happens," police said.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Central Middle School students were held in their respective classrooms Tuesday morning as Evergreen Park police investigated a “vague threat” that was later determined to be false.
Around 9:45 a.m., school officials were informed of a potential threat to the building. The middle school implemented its safety protocol and the building was placed in a “hold in classroom” status while the incident was investigated.
A student overheard another student state that if they “didn’t get their way, they would see what happened.” The student who overheard the student informed teachers about the comment, and students were held in their classrooms until 10:30 a.m.
