City Lights Orchestra Fills Air With 'Sounds of the Season'
South Side native Rich Daniels and his City Lights Orchestra will perform a holiday concert, Dec. 17, at Most Holy Redeemer Church.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- The Evergreen Park Recreation Department will present a glorious Christmas concert featuring the City Lights Orchestra and vocalists at Most Holy Redeemer Church on Sunday, Dec. 17. "Sounds of the Season" starts at 7 p.m. The concert is free, but concertgoers must have a ticket to be admitted to the performance.
Tickets are available now and will be distributed on first come, first served basis. Only four tickets will be handed out at a one-time pickup. The tickets can be picked up in person at the Evergreen Park Recreation Department, 3450 W. 97th St., Evergreen Park, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. This concert will reach capacity fast so be sure to pick up your tickets now.
The City Lights Orchestra and vocalists will be conducted by South Side native Rich Daniels. The renowned, 32-piece City Lights Orchestra will be playing holiday classics as well as a few other surprises. Daniels' CLO has appeared with some of the greatest names in show biz, including Ray Charles, Mel Torme, Burt Bacharach, Dionne Warwick, Dennis DeYoung, Diane Schuur, Dihann Carroll, The Four Topps, Smokey Robinson, The Manhattan Transfer, Frankie Laine and David Foster, to name a few. The classy and elegant City Lights Orchestra is a popular fixture in the village's summer concert series.

Most Holy Redeemer Church is located 9525 S. Lawndale Ave., Evergreen Park. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.
