Decorate A Pumpkin, March In A Halloween Parade This Friday
Superheroes and Disney princesses are invited to a Halloween costumer parade and pumpkin decorating this Friday, Oct. 26 at 50-Acre Park.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Show off your costume and march in Evergreen Park's Halloween Parade on Friday, Oct. 26. The Halloween costume parade steps off at 6 p.m. at 50-Acre Park, 91st Street and Rockwell Avenue, followed by activities through 7:30 p.m. This is one of Evergreen Park’s most beloved Halloween traditions. Activities go until 7:30 p.m.
Children up to 11 years old are welcome to participate. After the parade, hang around for the party. Pick out a pumpkin (one per child) from the pumpkin patch (donated by Pete's Fresh Market) and decorate it. Enjoy light refreshments and watch a Halloween movie. Every child gets a goodie bag to take home.
The annual Halloween parade and party is being held in 50-Acre Park this year because of construction currently underway at community center. During the party, the barn will be open for tours and visits with the animals. We're sure that horses Jack, Turk and Ariel will have some treats for the kiddos, so be sure to stop by and show them your costume.
